Wiltshire Eagles - Ex Pashtun Eagle

Post by TonyO »

In the run-up to RIAT, the MoD decided to hold no less than three major aviation exercises, CQWI at Kinloss, Auriga in the Caribbean and of course MRX/FTX down on the Salisbury Plain which led to my first sightings of the new upgraded AH9A and the Chinook Mk3, three examples of which took part at different times in the three weeks of the Ex. These pictures were snapped on exercise Forward Refuelling Point (FRP) during multiple visits.

On with the show...

Super clear set Tony. Rather partial to the merlin and the HC2A but all in lovely light. First week looked the best.

Cheers, ian
