COMPETITION - WIN A SIGNED BOOK!
"Tornado F3 - 25 Years of Air Defence" Book Competition
We've teamed up with Squadron Prints Ltd, who have three signed copies of their forthcoming full-colour commemorative 188 page book "Tornado F3 - 25 Years of Air Defence" to give away. In this book, the men and women of the F3 Force, past and present, take you around the world at supersonic speeds with stories of dark nights over the North Sea and hot days above the burning oilfields of Kuwait. From the Baltic coast to a final public bow at the Leuchars Airshow, with the wings swept back and the throttles parked in the "top left corner"…
Further details of how to pre-order the book can be found here : TornadoF3.com.
To enter the competition, all you need to do is to post your best shot of the Tornado F3 in this thread. Your shot can be from any time during its 25 years of RAF service.
Rules :
1/ Only one entry per person and must be posted in this thread.
2/ The image must have been taken by you.
3/ Competition closes at Midnight, 31 March, 2011.
4/ The three winning shots will be judged by members of 111(F) Squadron after that date and the winners will be notified by email.

I will go first then!
This F3 photo was taken at Waddington Airshow in 2008. It's quite topical as the aircraft is now in the RAF Museum at Hendon.

Ok doubt it's going to win any technical prizes, but for me this is what the F3 is about, and a perfect illustration of why I'll miss it

Captain Scarlet is indestructable, you are not. Remember this, do not try to imitate him.
