Japan Tour - [MERGED]

Mon 05 Dec 2011, 10:52 pm

Hello,

My name is Marc, and this is my first post.I've been lurking for a couple of years now, looking at some fascinating pictures.Although i stopped taking pics of aircraft several years ago, I was fortunate to make a three weeks trip to Japan in November.Together with two friends, we travelled around the country and photographed a great number of aircraft.
My photo skills are not as good as those of most of the posters on this site, but I'd like to share some shots with you.
(as you may have noticed, English is not my native language, so please accept my apologies.. )

First the Mighty Phantom...

Noted that all are in a clean configuration, is this something to do with the flying restrictions that were placed on the fleet?

Yep, you don't make much better an entrance than with JASDF Phantoms! Standout for me is the 3rd from Nyutabaru.

Welcome!

Japan tour - part 3

Wed 07 Dec 2011, 10:44 pm

Hello,

The Kawasaki T-4 is used as an advanced trainer and also as a hack on various bases, hence the different markings seen on these birds.

Nice post indeed but honestly the T-4 is not that rare in Japan. If you go there for two weeks its almost boring to see them :sleepy:

Luckily they come in different colours and markings.
