Ive been 2 times to Japan in 2010. Because of that I am familiar with the good photo opportunities over there and thus not so easily impressed.
But that changed with your last post.
The EP-3 9172 at Gifu and the UP-3C 9151 at Atsugi. Both with great light (sunny conditions). Oh, that hurts Now I am jealous ....

Pleased to hear you had a good trip and all the info I gave Jean-Luc was of use. Now you now why Pete and myself have been there twice now. If you good weather it just makes it. Couldn't you just spend weeks up the towers at Hyakuri?
