overall though, it has been a good year for me.
one of my first trips out was on SPTA where i finally got my first brown-out landings by a Chinook and a Puma!

second was a trip to RNAS Yeovilton and Westlands where i bagged the Greyhound that was going in and out of VL whilst the carrier was in the UK, and the Algerian and Saudi Merlins at Westlands...

May saw my first visit to RAF Mildenhall and RAF Lakenheath. the longest day of my life, leaving swindon at about 01:30 am and arriving back at around 23:00, but it was all worth it with the visiting potus choppers at mildenhall and other visitors and then a stop at Lakenheath to see the F-15s launch....

Yeovilton had probably some of the best visitors to UK airshows this year with the Polish MiG-29, French Role Demo and RNLAF Apache Demo with Flares!....

RIAT over the last few years has turned into more of a social event for me, meeting up with the same old faces, Rick, Rich, Jonathan, Dave, Raff,Chris, Liam, John and loads of others laughing all day long making for a great event regardless of the participants!
i look forward to hopefully meeting up everyone next year!

Sadly that brought my aviation year to an early finish having spent all my holiday allowance.
Finally i just wanna thank the people that made this year a good one! thanks for all the Lifts and laughs! hope for more of the same next year
