Watching over the WEF.

Post by hornet »

Hi everyone,

Here are some pics of Swiss Air Force in action at the end of january.
Three days around the Sion airport on 26, 27 and 28th.

When the Swiss Air Force is watching over the World Economic Forum of Davos...

Lot of opportunities to shoot some local and regular traffic too... !

A great set of wide ranging shots Hornet, for me the F5 still has the look in that colour and shot 20 has it all. All those wretched power lines a bit of a challenge , a photoshop trained spider called for - thanks for sharing

Great images, made more dynamic through some useful cropping. This is a thought through post. Nice.

The 5th from last shot of the F5 and runway lights in heat haze is spectacular, altogether a great set of images!

Another vote for F-5 with heat haze, But they are all superb images, and what a lovely back drop.

There'll be a 'from the cockpit' report of WEF in the May issue of AirForces Monthly.
