RAF Coningsby 14.05.12

I was up in Lincoln for a long weekend so thought it'd be rude not to pop over to Coningsby on Monday morning to get the Rafales departing..

The Typhoons were nightflying, so limited home action for the short period I was there..

But 10 minutes at Waddington provided these..

Hope they're of interest!

Simply stunning. But enough of your avatar..... :heyhey:

The Rafale head ons do it for me, really nice compositions.

Whenever I see those green HUD's in pictures, I can't help but think of HAL in 2001 A Space Oddysey.

As already said the first 2 are great but 6 is the stand out shot for me, wonderful composition to the millimetre! Well done.

Cheers for the kind words, chaps. Those Rafales are neat looking machines aren't they - really looking forward to seeing them at RIAT and Yeovilton now!

Rafales are so good looking as modern jets go, if only they inherited the 2K's camo

First shot is superb, interesting to see a tiger tail ahead of this year's NTM. Great stuff Dean
