Postby Arno 01 on Tue 14 Aug 2012, 1:02 pm

I was fortunate to be granted access to Konya AFB in Turkey in June, along with Chris F-4, we spent a great 3 days on base. Regards to the Dutch and Italian Guys who were also with us and many many thanks to the people in the Turkish Air Force who made this possible:

A fabulous set and mix of aircraft Arno. Too many good ones to mention. You can survive on this one alone for a while.

Best wishes, Ian

Looks like a pant wettingly exiting trip! Jood job.

Any idea why that Saudis chose the French Damocles pod instead of Litening III which the RAF use? I saw one on the Warton TSP Tonka a few years ago. It now looks like standard kit.

Arno!
To start with that Phantom shot then expect someone to look at the rest! Glad i did as i think that is up there with one of the best posts I've seen on here!!!

To decal manufacturers! 1/72nd scale is fine for me! 2 or 3 of each air arm involved would do for now as long as that Phantom is covered!
