Lithuanian AF Mi-8 SAR demo

Way back in 2010 I travelled to Siauliai AB in Lithuania to photograph their Hips. It wasn't the most exciting four days of my life as the Hip squadron wasn't going to be flying apart from sortie which was a SAR demo for my benefit.

So below are a number of shots of the same Mi-8 conducting the demo. A bit samey but hey there you go. At least I can say it's pretty windy standing directly below a Mi-8!
