Afghanistan - my love...
Great!
Did you make any a2a?
Why jets from Kandahar are departing in this way? Because of UAV zone above?

Very nice set, but what is that Tornado carrying? Looks a bit like a Hellfire...

F16 kicking up the dust is a great shot, but agree with others ; that Tonka shot is something special - how low can you go
Viper: Good morning, gentlemen, the temperature is 110 degrees

Just curious as to where you were standing to get the Tornado shot? I spend nine months of the year at KAF but I don't risk taking my camera onto the airfield for fear of getting arrested (or worse!!). Chances are I was on KAF when you took these as well
The Tornados always get the gear up quickly, I assumed its to avoid exceeding the max speed with gear down limits?

Ah yes, you do get a superb view from up there.
Some trivia for you - it should have had a passenger lift installed but it was never fitted as it was too expensive oh and toilets didn't feature in the original design either so the controllers would have to go up and down seven flights of stairs to use chemical toilets outside!!
We are working on a project at the moment to replaced some of the big windows up there as they have started to crack.
