Hangar shots from 31 Air Base
Re: Hangar shots from 31 Air Base
Not the greatest HDR fan but with the wide angle fisheye this just adds to the 'graphic' nature of some really nice shots away from the norm
Re: Hangar shots from 31 Air Base
to me, they look just a bit over edited - like a really good graphic artist has drawn them, but they just dont look realistic

Shots 1 & 5 are ace! Great to see something adventurous and different.

First shot is a belter, who needs sun?!

I love those, really dramatic. No. 4 works best for me, the cartoonish over dramatic angles really work well.
Re: Hangar shots from 31 Air Base
I like them all,i also think HDR is one of the best things about digital photography although it does depend on the subject.
In this case it definately works.
In this case it definately works.

photopraphy is just a medium to capture an image,, not always the be all and end all of a finished image.
Its entirely the graphic nature combined with the acute angles which in my view seperate these shots away from the pilchard fish in the sea
Afterall how many photographs of the same aircraft taxiing can you possibly like?
love it!
