Marham Winter Wonderland! 16/01/2013

Postby Lpdkill on Thu 17 Jan 2013, 9:51 pm

Hi All,

I booked yesterday off work a few weeks ago to get out 'togging and with the weather i encountered in Norwich on Tuesday, i thought yesterday was going to be a write off!! Marham dropped to -13 overnight and forecasts seemed to suggest Fog all day. Anyway, i checked the TAF which gave two totally different predictions!! I rolled the dice and fought through the North Norfolk snow to get over to Marham and the morning didnt disappoint!! Unfortunately the fog pushed in during the early afternoon!!! This gave 0 Vis as Tarnish found out when he went rather a long way off course!!

The reflection of the light off the snow, really highlights the underside nicely. A very nice crisp set there

Very nice indeed. The reflections off the snow really light the flying shots well, do like #6 tho- very atmospheric.

Thank you for the kind words on these chaps! Snow gives such a unique lighting opportunity, I'm really glad I made the effort to get over there!
