Malaysia & LIMA 2013 (50+ pics)

Postby soundbarrier on Sat 06 Apr 2013, 5:07 pm

Here my photoreport on the 4Aviation trip to Malaysia & LIMA 2013.

The well arranged trip was a succes. Due to the great weather (not much rain) and the flexible & proactive attitude of our 4A tourguide we were able to picture most of Malaysias MIL types. Of course LIMA 2013 attracted some additional nice regional visitors.

Besides LIMA at Langkawi also Butterworth, Subang, Sungai Besi, Alor Setar were visited (off base).

Furthermore the Malaysian AF museum was visited and we did some W&R hunting. Perhaps some of this in a later report.

Enjoy ... Gr. CBR

That looks like a half decent air show. Like the "Angel Wings" on the Hornet in pic 4.
"Nice pics mate" comments only! No criticism please.

Apart from the stunning crisp photos I can't believe how good Malaysia's air force is.

Very nice set, the Malaysians certainly operate quite a lot of different aircraft..

Korean Aerospace KT-1B Woong-bee

Superb set, lots of quality, and I do love the dark grey the RMAF decided on for its Hornets!

Lucky shot? not really. After four days of rehearsals it was not difficult to "predict" the routine and get a decent shot ...
