NAS Corpus Christi and NAS Kingsville

Post by boff180 »

Hi guys,

Back in October 2012, I was fortunate enough to have a tour of the flightlines at NAS Kingsville and the nearby NAS Corpus Christi. The weather wasn't the best, but the amount of aircraft on the pan was mindblowing. At Corpus Christi alone, there were more training aircraft on the pan than the entire combined transport/training/combat fleet of the RAF!

Here's a selection from the day, comments and criticism is always welcome!

Thanks

Andy

It's the double nose wheel, looks a lot meaner and tougher than the weedy single wheel on our birds.

Nice shots - the line up of Mentors is really impresive. ATC at that airfield must be quite a challenge.
