Commando 534, a Merlin from RAF Benson, flew in on Monday afternoon for a session of circuits. The sun came out too, which was a bonus.
Our Huey was also out on a type rating check flight. The two helicopters made an interesting comparison!

Very nice. Fantastic light for the Merlin.
Really want to see that Huey again this year.

Never understood why the Huey doesn't get more bookings. Such a great looking helicopter.

Nice Shots! A bit off topic but am I right in thinking that 509 was used in an episode of Ultimate Force when the Special forces were leaving Afghanistan?
