Super shots, what wonderful light and detail.
I'm considering a visit myself later this week, is this spot roughly point 'K' on the Thunder and Lightnings map? http://www.thunder-and-lightnings.co.uk/spotting/coningsby.php

Another fine set! Liking them all, but drawn to the 'specials'. Probably the excellent Spitfire (#6) edges it.

Yep, point K down Reedham Lane is a great spot. You'll need a decent set of steps though, which I didn't take with me. Fortunately, some of the regulars let me use theirs. I suspect I may be classed as a regular nowadays!

Cheers :)

I was quite pleased with the Spit, even though I had to extend the lens to 420mm, and then crop significantly. I got better ones later in the day, but the sky was white by that point, so I opted for the crop instead. Can't win them all!
