Exercise 'Rapid Raptor'-RAF Lakenheath

Managed to grab a couple of days at RAF Lakenheath last week for the 12 F-22A's that were deployed for the exercise 'Rapid Raptor'

Last Wednesday I've never seen the base so busy, it was noted throughout the day they launched 86 missions. At one stage a four ship of Raptors & Eagles had to sit at the EOR due to being refused permission to take off by London Military stating too many fighters in the air. Crazy Day.. Went back on Sunday to see them depart. I throughly enjoyed this deployment, it was really like going back to the glory days.

Awesome. Best I've seen from the deployment I'd say - some great F-15 shots in there too, particularly the first shot of 92-0364 over the piano keys.
