Friday the 5th of September (Our last Day visiting Airfields) we
drove to Agrinion.About 2 hrs Northwest from Araxos.
A place not easy to find.Not many people going there either.
We arrrived about 1200 hrs and Security was already waiting for
us.This Airfield is little active,but sometimes like now Planes like
Corsairs come here for Storage.We saw about 15 A7H just recently
withdrawn from use.Some of them are still in flyable conditions.
Further on in a different area you still catch about 40 Starfighters!
For our Surprise we also saw some little active Aircraft.
Like these 4 Grumman Ag Cats (First ones I ever photographed)!
Now some of the Corsairs recently arrived from Araxos
Starfighters-Heaven.They are here a very long time!

Thats it.Happy that I was there.But a sad sight.Anyway havent missed much
Fridays in Greece usually no military-flying!Only clearing Aircraft for the following week.
