Hi guys,
Back in September 2015 as part of a FAT trip to California and Arizona I visited NAS Lemoore for a base tour.
Unfortunately the week before the base had an accident and, as the wreck was placed on the pan, the pans were sadly off limits. However this was made up to us with a visit to the runway, namely the LSO shack used to practice guiding in Carrier approaches!
The PAO was a little confused as to why we didn't want to stand runway side of the shack! Some of these shots were taken at 42mm or less.
Anyway here's a few shots from an excellent few hours even if the sun played hide and seek in the middle of the desert!

I wonder why some USN aircraft still have full colour markings. It looks so much better.

Every squadron has one jet in full colour X00 as their CAG jet.
