European Air Refuelling Training 2017

Post by JaboG32 Spotter »

The annual European Air Refueling Training (EART) hosted by European Air Transport Command (EATC) took place in co-operation with Frisian Flag exercise over the North Sea, for two weeks crews from Germany, France and Italy come together to train of plan and execute complex aerial refueling missions in a real-life scenario .
The last Operations shown that the ability of Aerial-Refueling is one of the most important assets. So the EART was launched in 2014 to give the crews the best preparation for future missions.Seen on the Pictures below are the German Air Force Airbus Aircraft A310 MRTT 10+24 and the Aeronautica Militare Boeing KC-767A MM62228 14-03 of the 8° Gruppo di Volo 14° Stormo getting prepared for the Second Mission.

Docking the tank boom into the basket requires highest concentration and precision by the Pilot! For this reason the air-fueling is regularly trained due daily missions!
