72R Sqn Flypast RAF Matlaske

Heres a couple shots from the Flypast at RAF Matlaske yesterday afternoon such a shame the WX closed in it was horizontal rain just as they passed followed by thunder lightning but at least I can say I was there got record of it

Nice! and from a very unusual location! looks like they were spot on with their Nav, I don't think any signs of the old airfield remain?

Well done for getting the shots. :clap: I went to Beccles as their route pushed them through there, but no sign :sad: .I used to go to the BT exchange unit at Matlaske(in another life) and your trip proved a better idea going there.. :smile:

Thanks for comments guys theres not lot Matlaske left now just some perry track that farm use get about and think one pen shelter on edge of a field, Despite working there not walked round in long while.
Jonny7 I did think about going Colt but more enclosed there trees easy to miss anything as we did on last T-Bird flight it went behind Hangars we all 04-22 ends LOL but Matlaske pretty open high up so knew get something, Just shame was horizontal rain thunder lightning.
