A select few from a magnificent day in the loop. Great to catch Pinky on its penultimate low level op (at long last!) and also great to see the Belgians and the Spang F-16s. Not entirely pleased with the results as many images seemed to be soft so not sure if my 100-400 is playing up - had the same issue with images from Fly Navy, yet other images from Fairford have been ok! Bamboozled like heck, as they say!
Anyway, thanks for looking and enjoy!

Looks fun, a bit of high-g kite avoidance from one of the Spangs as well.

Thanks - I wondered who would be the first to spot that!!
Re: One sunny day in July
The first Granby shot is brilliant!
I take it you were on the top shelf? I was on the middle that day and barely got the Spangs landlocked.

Re: One sunny day in July
Thanks Luke! These were all taken from Bluebell
Re: One sunny day in July
One of the finest Loop sets I've seen posted anywhere for a while, matey.
I must get back to Bluebell soon. The Bwlch exit has been my favourite for a time, but I love the backdrop that Bluebell offers (despite the relative lack of warning)!

Re: One sunny day in July
Thanks chaps! Much appreciated
It was only the second time I'd done Bluebell in all the years that Peter345 and I had been going, which I hasten to add is over 15 years since our first trip up Cad West. The light is amazing all day and the perspective you get cannot be beaten, I just don't like the lack of warning and I'm usually scoffing on something when something comes!!
I did do the Bwlch exit last Thursday Tommy which I absolutely love, I tend to steer clear of Cad now as the car park situation nowadays is just laughable; I'm sure many of you will have seen pictures on various Facebook groups.
