If I remember correctly, one of the local guys mentioned that the T-38's some times come in for paint at Gateway. I assume the bare example is awaiting a new coat.

As Leon says it can be good and bad.
In my opinion the same as El Centro.
VMFA 314 were in residence there on my 1st USA tour in 2004
