Not having posted much in the last few years I though I'd take a quiet Saturday Morning and look through a few from last year at Wattisham, my local airfield. As I've frequently said, it's not the easiest place to photograph and the only decent recommendation I can offer is to try summer evenings when the sun has gone around to the North and have ago from the North side fence and road, but a long lens and patience is a absolute must. With SAR and the police helo gone, it's now a pure Apache base, and with the savage cuts to that fleet in recent years activity is rare, so keep that in mind if you do give it a go. That all said, it can be done.
