A glorious day on Corris was only spoilt by no aircraft turning up, so myself and Starbug1981 decided we'd look for a new location in the hope of catching the Australian Navy MH-60R's that were due to fuel stop at RAF Valley on the way to JW in Scotland.
We spent an hour scoping out goggle maps (whilst draining the phone 3 times) and opted for a location near Llyn Trawsfynydd. Our gamble paid of as first an RAF Puma routed through followed a while later by the Navy Seahawks. Somewhat large crops as they were over the far side of the lake from our position, but it was the only vantage point we could find to get above them, or level with them at least.
1).
2).
3).
4).
Thanks for looking,
Kelvin
