help needed, 747-400BCF?

Postby raiford on Sun 07 Jun 2009, 9:22 am

On the morning of the 4th June I saw a cargo 747-400F with a big top, BCF maybe? she was heading in a North Westerly direction overhead Worcester between 6 and 7am, it is unusual to get heavies in that direction overhead Worcester, they are usually a bit further South, the livery looked like either UPS or World Cargo, could'nt be sure as I did'nt have my binoculars with me, can anyone help with the identity of the operator?, just for my little notebook of course

Come to think of it it could have been a Thai Airways 747, would love to find out somehow, I have become obssessed with it  I really do wish I had those darned binoculars with me

Found this on one of the many mailing lists I'm on, not sure if its connected but does seem a bit of a coincidence

N270RP old Singapore lump destined for Europe?
Left Marana about twenty minutes ago as SXA626 bound for Bangor, Maine.
A2A801 N270RP B747-412 c/n 27071/1072 reportedly for Eagle Aviation Europe
