Looks like another good line-up, a nice classic jet theme running through there; Hunter, 2x Gnats, Vampire and Strikemaster. A shame I'm on holiday for this one, and knowing my luck no doubt it'll be the only show this year where the Edwardians are able to come out to play

Is that MV22 Osprey a wind up though!!!

Cheers, Huw

MV22? How did that get in there?!

Should read "Osprey Display" - the birds, presumably. :ninja:

The Sea Vixen would take up half the seasons budget for visiting acts. So unless a benefactor comes forward you wont see it at Old Warden.

Bugger! Me and my dad watch them performing out over the estuary when we go down to visit family, It'd be fantastic to be able to see them at a show. Damn my holiday

It's on between the Shuttlewuffe and the Wasp.

Quite gutted I'm on holiday for this show, plenty of quality visiting classic jets and the first chance to see the FW44 this year. At least I'll have the photographs to enjoy once I get back!

With a Hunter, two Gnats, a Strikemaster and a Vampire it is definitely worth £25.00.

Maybe they will put it towards the Sea Vixen appearing?

Presume the Demon will replace the Hind on the list?

Excellent news, gutted that it's the only Old Warden show I can't get to!

Any chance we could have it display at the August 'evening' show too?

Hmmm, considering this one. Ticket includes admision to the gardens and birds of prey centre, and the line up and forecast both look good....

I really want to go,but can't because im off to London to watch Arsenal play in the Emirates cup, Im not even an Arsenal fan  . I haven't been to Old Warden since 2005, want to go back this year on a display day, but everytime there is a display i am always booked for the day. I do miss the classic grass runway of the Shuttleworth Collection.
hope you all enjoy it

Quite fancy this one then. Never been to OW before. Any tips for where to view from on the crowdline? What time should I arrive? How long is the flying display, etc.

Dan, Flying usually starts at 2.00pm. You might want to get there early if you want to have a look around the birds of prey, and Swiss garden, as it looks as if it might be busy tomorrow. You can pay £5 (I think) to have a half hour flightline tour. As to where to stand take your pick really, most spots are pretty good. We're going tomorrow, party rings on standby! Look forward to seeing you tomorrow.
