Sunset on the plain... [now with video]

Post by Batman3 »

Enjoyed a spectacular evening on the plain last night - some real unique opportunities to be had, and in good company too.

First off Swedeforce:

Then the light went...these pictures have not been tampered with:

...

Then finally came Raynard 1 + 2 at "thermal switch over" or darkness:

...

I hope that interests someone! Was one of the highlights of my year for sure.

Rick, your posts get better each time! Lovely conditions, the first shot is stunning - some nice dare devil head on shots as well! Nice catch with the 2 J's, came over here low level on their way out and back in. My dads just left as I type this message on his way up to Deptford so, lets hope he gets somthing .. Unless that Swede stays till next week, I wont have a chance to catch it :(

Fantastic shots Rick. I went over to the pan for a perv at the Swede about 9pm last night, it must have just got back from the Plain.

Third shot is really nice and I also like the slow shutter speed shots.
