Hi,
A very cheap flight (£8.00 each) care of Wizz from Warsaw Sunday morning bought me & the wife to Goteborg. The day started off with a fine drizzle and if anyone knows what the weather was like at Radom on Saturday, then drizzle was actually quite pleasent.
The few days before the show at Goteborg they too had very heavy rain leaving the grass area more of a swamp, it really was bad. Anyhow, the show went on , a very relaxed show but worth attending as the Swedish Historic Flight rarely appear outside of Sweden, also this year Team 60 (Sweden's Red Arrows) were to make their only show appearence.
Come the afternoon the weather improved with quite a few breaks in the cloud and with the clear air and piercing blue sky's all was perfect. The bonus came as we were leaving when both Lansen's present taxied and left together, one of my aims was to see the Lansen flying & to see two in the air together was fantastic.
The weather, a curved flight line and somewhat more relaxed airshow regulations (compared to to the UK) made for a very nice day.
Next years show (28th & 29th August) should be a lot a bigger as they are celebrating 100years of Swedish Aviation.

Super stuff throughout. Especially like the last Harvard and the first (airborne) Lansen images, and the Tunnan taxiing against the dark background works brilliantly.

Fantastic to see this stuff from Goteborg - we would really appreciate any more photos you may wish to share - I think we all enjoyed these very much - do they have any airworthy Drakens or Viggens ( thinking of next year being the 100th anniversary)

Great pictures, I take it this is held at Goteborg Save airport on the opposite side from the terminal?

Marc,
Missed these first time around. Some great shots. Might get mine aired one day soon!
I am glad you missed the incident at Radom! I hope you and and your other half had a slightly drier time than Poland!
We must meet up one day, at the local.

Lovely set of shots of some rare aircraft (certainly in UK skies). Will be putting the 2010 show in my diary as a possible must visit for next year.
