India's big cats

Post by lazyweasel »

At the start of the year I ventured to India with Liam (MAD). Here's a few images of one of the types I travelled to see. The article can be found in the latest issue of AIR International

Great images, thanks for posting these. And I envy you the access - had my name down a couple of years ago for a proposed Ian Allan tour of Indian bases, but sadly the IAF got cold feet.

Stunning stuff, how sad that we can not see the RAF jaguars flying anymore!

What about getting a couple of these to RIAT

Thanks for sharing them.

Some nice shots there, especially the first 3.
Brings back memories of watching the first 12 or so Indian Jags being delivered through Cyprus in the early 80's.
Twas a fantastic sight to see run and break over Larnaca folllowed by there AN12 Support.
Got some photos somewhere, must dig them out.
Thanks for sharing.

Thank you for the comments gents. I am also delighted with the second shot. It was the only pairs take-off during the trip and was actually the last departure shot that I took on the final day of our visit. Luck was on my side!!
