Gifu Open House 12-10-2009

Post by Jujuman »

Hello all,

Visited Gifu Air Base Open House on October 12th.
The static was horrible, the aircraft were parked so that the only photo you could take from it was against the sun, or they were crowed with people.
So after a quick stop on base, in and out in one hour including the shuttle bus, were arrived back at the Kakamigahara Aerospace Museum were we found a very nice spot for the flying display.
It was hard to believe that there were aviation photographers with 600mm prime lenses and state of the art equipment who choose to stay on base for the air show, while the best spot was definitive off base.
Enjoy!!

Great set

The Eagle/Phantom shot is my favourite - 1) as they are two of the my favourite aircraft and 2) it has the quality of a nice air2air shot!!

 The F-4 and F-15 shot is my favourite. I do like the topside F-4 too. Then there's the first formation....then...well - they're all cracking! :topbombing:
