I Haven't posted photos on the forum for a while, but I thought today would be a good day to do so.

That last one is a real cracker. North Weald, yes?

Am I right in thinking that the Spitfire XVI shot was taken at Dover? I was there on the Saturday and she was grounded at Lydd, waiting for a replacement tyre IIRC. Looks like she was pretty close to you, was this at the school?

Thanks Man  The final photo is at Weald and yes the Spit shot sure is Dover, on the sunday at the Duke of York's Military School. Despite the display being backlit from a photographers point of view I didn't mind and I quite like the photos I got (there's 2 more on Flickr), more shilouette types something a bit different. But from a pure aviation enthusuast point of view it was one of the best Spitfire displays I've seen all year! It was a really close display and Cliff Spink flew it beautifully

Cheers, Huw

Hey Huw, good to see a post from you, and a quality one it is too, some very sombre and moody shots there.

Kev.
