Northolt Night Photoshoot VI

Post by Graf Zeppelin »

I am happy to say that we have been authorised by the Stn Cdr to run Night Photoshoot VI in March. Hopefully by then the weather will be warm enough for airframe icing not to be show stopper for the Securite Civile CL415 and S-2T  I will post an update as soon as I have more information
Cheers Phil

March sounds good to me!

You probally have enough ideas for the nightshoot plus aircraft that have cancelled before and promised to come again but I (and I'm sure many others) would still love to see a RAF Chinook, RAF Tutor, RAF Shadow R1, AAC Apache, RAF Typhoon and a USAF HH-60 Blackhawk!

Army Bell 212 would be superb under those lights as its a slightly glossy frame. As would the mi-17 from boscombe. I understand they finish instructing in march so its then or never...

Might be a god idea to ring round the bases to see when they are night flying and ask if anyone fancies a nav sortie to Northolt and back with a couple of hours on the ground. That way you wouldn't have to accomodate all the crews...or have you thought of that already Phil?
