Fencers at Lipetsk - more added

Post by Kieron »

Have'nt posted for a while so I hope I have got the new posting rules right. I also noticed the comments about Photobucket so I hope these are okay. All taken at Lipetsk during a three day visit back in August.

Apart from Su-24s, the 968 IISAP at Lipetsk also operates various sub-types of Fulcrums, Frogfoots and Flankers.

Many thanks for your comments, I have added a few of the other types that fly with the 968 IISAP at Lipetsk.

What a cracking set of photos, Kieron. Looks like a great base to visit. That mixed formation must have been some sight. Did you manage to shoot those Mig-23s that are in the background of the 1st Mig-29 pic?
Have been lucky enough to see an Su-24 at a Leuchars airshow in the early 90s, although I missed it flying in. Looked great parked in static. Shame they can't be tempted back.
