lakenheath for a non mil man

Postby redbearing on Wed 08 Oct 2008, 3:19 pm

had a couple of hours free from the office and though great light, and as the heath is only twenty five mins from home though i would give a stab, brilliant never though it would be so busy, first landing took the RHAG, closed the runway for twenty mins to reset it, wished i could have stayed longer than 10:15, plenty of lenses about, i enjoyed it!! not used to the final speeds twisted my neck!!!

It's a "boss bird" - has the fin flashes of all of the based Sqns merged into one design. The other one to carry those markings is marked "48 FW".

Nice shots in lovely light btw.
