I was one of four very fortunate enthusiasts to be allowed into Plant 42 @ Palmdale :ninja: in 1996 to get these shots, the four of us who were given a pretty decent tour of the facility were probably the first British (none employee) nationals to be given this level of access, I still drool over the slides I took that day.

U-2D (twin seat ) on the right and an A-12 on the left, both are now in the Palmdale Museum

Another pair which are still on display P-80 (really a T-33A) & YF-117A :ninja:

You must have been a few yards to my right - and ten seconds later - with your (much better) shot than mine........

You must have had a press pass - or a bigger lens - at MAKS 2005....

No press pass, just my trusty 100-400 but the light reflection off the acres of concrete adjacent to the far right end of the runway certainly helped. I was on the same trip as you.
