Glad they're appreciated but I'm the monkey on the stick, credit goes to Frans.

I'd take issue with that last statement. Having done a few air to airs (nothing as good as this) I have to say that without a good pilot (in both aircraft) it will be a bust, without a photographer who knows what he wants and briefs it accordingly, it will be a bust. Its all about Teamwork.

Those images are among some of the best air to airs of a Hunter I have seen, thanks in part to the warped mind of the owner to paint the aircraft in those colours (can I have some of what you were on please)

Stunning!

Must admit the "purist" in me thought that scheme revolting when I first saw it but it's grown on me over the years and it's certainly displayed Very Well. As for the shots

Thanks a bunch guys......... now I'm going to have to have my ego surgically removed just so I can fit in the cockpit!
Seriously, I thought John Dibbs's photo of her on her wing tip was unbeatable, but Frans's ones in the vertical are way up there.
At the time I didn't think the shoot was going well. All last minute, too short a brief, too late in the morning so we'd lost the good light, experienced hunter pilot flying the Strikie but not done air to air before and just after the vertical shot was taken, I was transmitting "I'm out of here" and unloaded to ballistic as the needle passed 130Kts!
And the video of the low flying........... been great if we'd taken some
