Good to see this fine team from a different angle from the norm, really like the Moonshot, great stuff.

Great set of shots.

The take-off shots show them burning jet fuel, very badly. What colour do you call that exhaust?

A really nice set of shots.

One thing though, is there any chance you could number them to make individual commenting easier please?

Ace selection Keiron, I still have the scars from climbing the haystack to try and get the launch shots on the Friday, and in the end I just watched as the 4 Blues came straight overhead!

Simon

He had got better by the time we reached El Centro,
it was only 3 buckets of water over his head at 6am.

RIAT...PLEASE...PLEASE break the bank to get those guys over at least in the next 2 years?????????????????

Many thanks for all your kind remarks. Much appreciated. Most of the shots were taken from the outside from on top of a 12 foot high stack of hay bales, conveniently situated at the end of the cross runway which is used by the Blue Angels for their departure. The full display is performed over the airfield on Thursdays and Saturdays at 0830, and then repeated again at 1300hrs. On the other weekdays, they use this runway for departures three times a day and utilise the airspace to the north of El Centro to practice their routine.
Simon, they certainly woke me up when they passed over my head at about 100 ft !
