from 3rd until 22nd of April (small extension because of the volcano clouds) we went with a group of 11 aviation photographers on a tour to Japan. The guys from 4Aviation lead us to wonderful spots around the airbases in Japan and we captured wonderful moments. We are all busy editing our immense number of shots but here are already a few highlights and I am sure many more will follow. Enjoy!

That set just made me smile. Love the C-1 in the silver scheme and the Seahawk.

Ummm.... Stupid question, but what is number 9?
I've brought you a gift; I'll give you a hint, it's in my diaper, and it's not a toaster!
Re: Japan Tour April 2010
the airplane in shot number 9 is the new Kawasaki XP-1 accompanied by a chase plane in the form of a P-3C Orion. The XP-1 will eventually replace all Orions in Japans inventory.

Nice selection. Though they look softer than the 1000px versions you posted on Scramble. Nice to see the C-1FTb is active.
