Please Tell Us What You Think About Our New Website

Post by RAF Photos »

In case you hadn't noticed we've got a new website (which rock where you living under?)!

Please visit www.airshows.co.uk and report your feedback here.

We'd love to know what you think about it, what you like, what you dislike and perhaps what features you think it's lacking and you'd like to see added in the future.

No! They'll be archived under http://oldforums.airshows.co.uk so that they are accessible to all.

I'm guessing they're not achieved yet as the board is in offline mode

They're off until everyone's DNS has caught up and they've found the new forums. We'll open them up again in a day or two probably, read only.

Please have a look around the new webste too - there's loads of new reports and features to have a read through. If the pics aren't loading, again, it's DNS related. It'll all clear out and catch up with itself eventually. If you hold control and hit refresh, it might clear the images. If not, just be patient.

Indeed, once we think everyone can see the new board and realises there's been the change we'll put the old one back online again.

Crisp!

Well done to the UKAR team as I know how much work must have gone in to this (and the ongoing support and moderation work)!

Cheers,

Are you going to be like the Big British Castle and ask us all to "have your say"?

(PS: This new board is making me stupid, I can't seem to string a sentence together).

This site is rubbish .....you may think it's funny that I have to scroll five miles before I reach 'off topic' which is my favourite aviation site 'boozer'.....but it's not!

A man could get finger sprain doing this all day.....I think you have given no consideration to the fact that my fingers must remain supple to pick my nose or flick the odd 'V' at website moderators?

And that leads me onto another point ...how come all the moderators and posters are the same ? I came here thinking new board, new people .....it's the same bunch of nutters!

And where's the section for 'aircraft spotters who can't read good and also have trouble spelling?' I think it's a glaring ommision?

And and and and .....

Ah, forget it!

Congrats on the new rubbish board

I like the new clean look and I've been impressed with the migration to the new forums too - it's been well notified and well handled.

Looking forwards to seeing how this evolves over time!!

Very well done to the people who handled this move, I know how hard this can be and it's not always appreciated! Thank you!!

Just been mooching generally ......it does seem very crisp and clean ......subtle but smart
Is there a facility to view posters profiles as before?

Seems to be some problems with the board cutting the edge off pictures that have been posted?

We've had a small discussion here about this, something that 1024x768 screen resolution users are going to have to put up with for the moment, until we find a solution. :)

Much better than the old one! Shame about the photo issue and having to re-register but they are not major issues.
