RAAF Super Hornets Air to Air

Post by GBloore »

Now that the issue of Air International has run the article on the RAAF Super Hornets, I can post a few of the shots. On a personal side note, the people at Air International did an amazing job with the Cover. In my humble opinion, it looks amazing, but to be honest, it is my first cover, so I may be biased.

The RAAF were amazing and a pleasure to shoot. Here are a few shots that were taken over the Sierra Nevada mountains in California.

Lovely work Glenn. What did you shoot from?

I shot these guys when they passed through Auckland on their delivery flight. On the ground though...

Fantastic shots!! I live just to the west of that location and maybe these guys flew over me a time or two. I recognize pic 2 and pic 5. I can barely make out the town of Lone pine and the Alabama Hills down there as well as Mt. Langley in pic 5. Very cool!
