Very odd, I'm sure BHX will charge them more than RAF Shawbury. That said, would love to see another fast jet at the airport, last one I remember seeing was a Luftwaffe Tornado pre-1988.

I believe Shawbury was one of the dispersal airfields for the V-Bomber force. Plenty long enough![]()
