Had a cracking day at Biggin yesterday. As always it was a varied flying display - highlights for me were the Matadors, VC-10 and F16. Here's a few from a hard days shooting - had an absolute mare with the 100-400L, for some reason, with a huge lack of sharp shots. C&C welcome aswell as it's the first time I've edited on my new laptop.
Hope they're of interest!

Some great angles in there and some nice composition. I like the Chinook with the underslung load

Statics are superb, Dean. Worth sticking one into the competition.

Like the unusual angles. I found as the day warmed up the haze blurred increasing numbers of my shots and the sharpest were the few arrivals before the display. Nice set there
Re: Biggin Hill 26.06.10
Thanks guys, will have to enter something into the competition then!
Someone mentioned that on another forum too - it's frustrating but I suppose it's not as bad as something actually being wrong with the lens.

F-16 shot for me, very nice
Re: Biggin Hill 26.06.10
Good set Dean. Arty-farty shots aren't really my thing, but you seem to have a knack for it, with some every clever compositions, the Polish flag in particular
Re: Biggin Hill 26.06.10
Nothing wrong with these, some great compositions there
You're not the only one who struggled with a 100-400, mine refused to focus at all during the late afternoon

Thanks again chaps
Hopefully it'll be a little cooler at Waddington this weekend so the lens can perform a bit better!
