Boff's RIAT 2010... in HD! - SATURDAY THROUGH MONDAY UPDATE!

Post by boff180 »

Hi guys,

Decided to do a few images at 1024 this year every evening, then publish a full gallery at normal size on my site in the coming weeks :-)

Todays conditions were nothing short of awful, everytime there was a movement, the heavens opened. As soon as it went quiet... it brightened up! Typical.

Anyway, enough waffle! Here are three shots from today! Image quality not helped by trying Nikons "Active D-Lighting" in camera raw processing for the first time to find it's a load of tosh and added a tonne of noise to most shots!

I know they aren't that great but hey ho, roll on the weekend!

Ta guys, lesson learned on Active D Lighting!

Roll on the wind tomorrow. I'm currently 5 miles SE of Fairford and just walked the hotel grounds, the wind is already very strong, but there is Blue Sky!

Hi all,

Today started awful and got worse.... just as the Raptor displayed. Then we had sunshine all afternoon! Typical isn't it?

The crosswind was very very strong, making for some interesting landings, with the first Norwegian F-16 almost binning it!

Anyway on with tonights HD offerings!

Houston, we have a problem!

Thank you guys

I can't take the credit, my Bigma OS can; this lens is 1.5 months old and already worth its weight in gold!

Cracking shots mate, Raptor images are fantastic.

I have always wanted to shoot an Apache with dayglo but WTF!!!. :lmao:

The new lens is proving to be a great investment, counting the days now.
