Has an F-22 actually displayed in sunshine in the UK yet? When I saw it at Farnborough in 2008 it was mostly cloudy aswell.

Hopefully the weather will be sunny for it's first uk show performance

The weather here in Cambridgeshire is awful. With the wind, making the rain storm down. I suppose you guys have had it at Fairford as well?

Well typically, I could only make it for a few hours today, I drove down from Chester at about 5am, and after Birmingham, jeez did the skies go black (and the rain soon followed!) and despite a nice dry start at Fairford it soon changed with some really heavy rain throughout the morning.

I've just got back up to Chester now having left at about 2.30pm, and all I can say is I hope someone got pictures of the two waterspouts in the distance when the C17 (I think it was) was coming in, unfortunately my brolly packed in when the real rain started to come leaving me and my jeans open to the elements, so if you saw a lad in jeans looking like he'd just been on the log flume then yes that was me (in the non-FRIAT section)!

Off to look for some photos now!

Excellent! LMAO when I saw this.
Well were on our way in the morning, and hoping for some dry weather, we are quite used to grey sky photography in this country but would like to experience a dry RIAT! Please

I've taken one for the team. Now I've decided to take the car and doom myself to hours of queues instead of using the bike, I'm sure the sun will split the trees!

Still very windy at Fairford- it's not stopped since Wednesday! Currently more cloud than sun also but if there was no wind, it would be warm. KC-10 has arrived also.

Cancel it? There would have to be somekind of natural disaster akin to the end of the world before they risked cancelling it again. Anyway, it looks good for tomorrow...

the weather this month, this week in particular, it totally different to that of 2008, we have only had a tiny fraction of the rain we had then so no, it won't be cancelled because of what amounts to spit!

There's quite an intense but brief line of rain, possibly thundery, nearing Fairford according the radar. If it's as heavy as it was when it passed here then people are going to be scattering to shelter soon!

Find youself somewhere to hide - if it's the same rain which just passed by here, NE Bristol and blowing in your direction, you might need it.
