Recently set up an account myself. Mainly aviation but plenty of stuff not posted on these forums before. Not too much info as yet to go with pics but i'll get round to that one day! Plenty more to add too......

I have just set up a new group on Flickr...

http://www.flickr.com/groups/world_airshows/pool/

I'm looking for new submissions & the content does not have to be solely aircraft, you can include shots of anything as long as it was taken at an airshow or is airshow themed!

I've just created a new Flickr group to share Flying Legends images.

Photos from any Flying Legends display are welcome. There's no posting limit (for the time being) and membership is open to all.

Iceman, to link from flickr to here....
go to your photo's page
click on "all sizes" above the photo
select 'medium size (500 x ....)
from the page that comes up copy the URL from the lower of the 2 boxes
Paste that between the IMG boxes on your post on here.

The downside is that the default size on flickr goes from 500 x ..., and the next size up is 1024 x...
The only way round that is to upload at 800 x ... and then select original size when linking to here.

On my Leuchars airshow post, I posted the URL to the 1024 x... size below the medium size photo, so folk could see it larger (than the default size on here even) if they wanted to.

Hope that helps.

Hi Ben

Sorry, looks like they have changed things around, I'd be blown if I can get the damn thing to work. I need the idiots guide.

You're welcome. Considering the ridiculous cock-up that Flickr made in implementing its recent changes, things have shaped up to being far easier to use. I'd still like to see the "all sizes" button above the photo rather than buried in a menu though.

Since there didn't appear to be a Flickr group for the Great War Display Team I've created one.

Feel free to add your photos of the team.

For historical reasons (BT Internet's pre-Flickr "unlimited" photo uploading which turned out to have limits on it!), I've two accounts...

http://www.flickr.com/photos/maxinelayland - new stuff, mainly wildlife and landscapes with the odd ship / plane / car thrown in.

http://www.flickr.com/photos/davidlayland - older stuff, including some slides / negs scanned from airshows in the late 80's & early 90's in the "Trains, Planes etc" set.

I have been on flickr for a while. Here is my flickr link:

Pretty much anything and everything is on there. I like to keep variety in the content of my photostream.

Am very new to all this so please be gentle! Hopefully this should be the link to my Flickr page containing images from the 2010 Leuchars show. These are only some of the ones I have, all my first attempt at "proper" (I.e.DSLR) photography so let me know what you think.

If it all works of course!
