Duxford Air Museum..

Post by Macc »

Due to combining Fairford and RIAT departures, we had an extra day in Suffolk. Instead of shooting more eagles and raptors on that day, we went to Duxford (although we got the Raptors before going, skill I tell you. )

I'll add a few more later.

The F4J shot is the best photo I've ever seen of a museum based Phantom. Makes me want to give up!

More excellent work here, Chris. Love the SR-71 - really well seen and taken. Would have been even better if it were out in the open rather than in a museum.

Added your website to the UKAR links page btw.

They are superb! Love the SR71 in particular.
I love Duxford but I always find it a struggle to get decent angles for interesting photos.
I see now that it can be done

Your exposure of the Phantom is superb. Very moody.
All great shots.

Some great compositions there Chris, the SR-71 image is particularly strong. Really like the FGR2 shot too, great use of the light and dark contrast.

I prefer the shot of the FGR2 myself, don't usually like angles like that on aircraft but Macc has done a good job with that shot.
The F-4J is piccy no.10.

Awesome set of pictures!
the first lot is simply some of the best shooting I have ever seen to come from museum visits!
my fav has to be the first Blackbird picture; combine this with a sinistre looking background and you have a killer pic :)
