"Eye Of The Tiger" Night Shooting Jagel June 29, 2010

Post by MigF4 »

Hi gents,

as the weather is really bad today, at least where I live, I thought to share some more images I took lately!

This time, a shooting which took place already end of June in Jagel - Home of the AG 51"Immelmann" ( Recce Wing ), where I was able
to make some really impressive night shots from the "EYE OF THE TIGER".
As this a/c came some days earlier from Erding, where the jet got a coating to "safe" the really nice special c/s, it was also thelast chance
to make some nice day- and nightshots.
It looks after the "final touch" before it will be displayed as a gate-guard, almost brandnew and fresh out of the paint job.

Ok, here we go..... some impressions from Jagel and a long day and even short night was succesfull accomplished with really impressive
shots of the "Eye of Tiger" on the UAV runway @ Jagel.
We choosed this spot , as we could get a clear view into the sunset and also had no obstacles in the background too.

Cheers,
Mick

First when I arrived we took some shots from an elevated position by daylight

Image

Then we moved the a/c on too the UAV runway....

Image

This is a brandnew unused runway......where I got this nice "upper" shot

Image

And again from the nice aerial platform, we got this nice runway overview

Image

Then it was time for some sunset impressions, and luckily the weather improved and opened the sky.....

Image

During sunset, we could get this up-close shot

Image

The sun is almost gone....

Image

....and with a bit water, we got this nice view on too the "EYE OF THE TIGER"

Image

And finally....the magic-hour - Eye to eye

Image

The magic "EYE OF THE TIGER"....

Cheers,
Mick

Good morning gents,

at first thanks for all your comments   which are always welcome and here is the last batch of images from that shooting.

Indeed, it was the last opportunity after almost waiting a year to shoot that beauty during night and even day!

Cheers
Mick

Another sunset impression....

Image

Luckily this a/c will not end in Jever and will be scrapped!

Image

Again with the magic hour and some less water this time....

Image

Even from the rear angle it still looks nice.....with the "EYE OF THE TIGER"

Image

The last shot......thanks to all who have been involved to arrange that shooting!!!!

Cheers,
Mick

There's a pic of the week shot in that lot, not sure which to go for though
Surprised to read its going on the gate now, seems no time since it was one of the stars of NTM '09.
