As promised elsewhere, I have dragged some old photos from my album. They are from various stages of my time as a RAF navigator. They are all dodgy scans from dodgy prints from dodgy cameras. Firstly as a cadet on Northumbrian Universities Air Squadron.
At Summer Camp, RAF Abingdon 1978, formation practice.

Four of our aircraft joined up with another UAS to make up a 7-ship over Didcot power station.

The same formation over RAF Abingdon, NUAS at the front and more practised than the other lot.

Easter Camp 1979, over the North York Moors.

Still scanning, Nav training at Finningley next.

That's some impressive tight formation flying in the first shot...
Re: The View From The Cockpit - Part 1
Great formation flying, great shots. Would love to see some more.

Hi Folks,
I was a Photobucket victim but decided I would try to repair some of my favourite posts in the hope of encouraging others to do the same. Took me a while but I've updated my 'View From The Cockpit' series.

Takes me back to flying the Bulldog on Liverpool UAS and competing with NUAS for the Hack Trophy in spot landing and aerobatics competitions in the very early 80s.
