The Royal Navy Sea King from HMS Gannet payed a visit to a sunny Silloth on monday 30th August to demonstrate its abilities of coordinating a rescue with the RNLI's Atlantic 75 lifeboat, and picking a casualty up from open seas. Thanks to the guys for a great demo, and a lovely landing and takeoff in close spaces
And finally, the crew of the Silloth lifeboat...
Thanks for looking.

Beautiful set of pic's indeed, without a doubt my fave heli's.
Nice to see they cleaned her before her day out, some of the Seakings that come up the Clyde past our house on the way to the Southern General Hospital are filthy, it does however reflect the very busy nature of these heli's and actually suits them somewhat. Nice to see this one "glammed up" though.
